Cancer Support Group 06 is a charitable association that offers support to anyone in the Alpes-Maritimes (06) and part of the Var (83) who needs help with their cancer journey or that of a loved one. They are staffed by volunteers who speak English, French and other languages who will listen to you, help you identify what support you need, and connect you to worthwhile services and resources.

One of the most significant distinctions between funerals in France and England lies in the procedural requirements. In France, registering the death is mandatory within 24 hours, followed by the burial or cremation within six days of the individual's passing (excluding Sundays and Public Holidays). This remarkably swift turnaround contrasts with the more extended timeframe typically observed in the UK. The pace at which decisions must be made and arrangements organised may seem rather alarming in comparison.
